The only real reason for gap in Investor return vs Investment returns and it's not to blame investors

I always feel bad when financial experts blame #investorbehaviour,  Typically  saying & showing, investor return vs investment return.

The falling market fear, not holding for longterm are reasons shown, but the only true reason is, Family need and short of resources.
